Enshrouded is at 1.0, and dozens of our players just started building

Enshrouded

Enshrouded is now on version 1.0. Among steamplayti.me players, the game went from almost nobody to a crowd in a matter of days: 2 of our players touched it the week before, and 39 did this past week.

  • ▸
Weekly players jumped from 2 to 39, nearly 20 times as many
  • ▸
33 of those 39 were playing it for the first time since we started tracking them
  • ▸
Hours went from about 8 in a week to about 400

From a quiet corner to a crowd

In the days before October 15, Enshrouded had at most three of our players a day, and some days none at all. Then October 15 arrived and 14 of our players were in it. By the weekend it had settled at around two dozen players a day.

The hours climbed even faster than the headcount. Our players put in about 8 hours the week before and roughly 400 this past week, close to 50 times as much. And most of this crowd is fresh: for 33 of the 39 players this week, it was the first time we had seen them play it.

Big days in Embervale

This is not a game people open for ten minutes. On a typical day one of our players spends in Enshrouded, they log about two and a half hours there. October 17 alone added up to about 119 hours across 24 players.

As for what else they play: roughly 1 in 4 of our Enshrouded players also spent time in Valheim this month. About 1 in 5 played AION 2 and about 1 in 6 played The Witcher 3 in the same stretch.
